NJ Transit is getting nearly $2.7B in federal pandemic relief funds after the governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut agreed on how to divide $14 billion in COVID-19 transit aid, following months of negotiations. New York is getting the lion’s share of the funding -- close to $11 billion. New Jersey had been seeking about a $1 billion more than it received, according to reports.
