And this time, Jacqui, uh, let's pick up the cues a bit.
Try and relax your hands a little.
And remember what we said about the English accent.

Keeping that lovely authenticity.

[Chuckles] Fun.
[Chuckles] Jacqui, Jacqui.
That was really inspiring.
Charlie: Mia.

I am loving this energy.
Mia: ♪ If only people would hear the alarm ♪ So what do you do?

And you just... you take the plunge, and it's just all there.
[Chuckles] And now it just feels like anything's possible.
If anything, I might get to Broadway too quickly.
[Chuckles] So I think I'm definitely gonna need more costumes.
[Mia chuckles] We are framing Helen as a real woman, right, just trapped in the chaos of her own mythology.
And her own power, but also, you know, completely controlled by fate.

You know, the one with Paris and Helen, their unbreakable bond flourishing against the odds.

I mean, just think of all the great parts we could play together one day, like Roxie and Velma, Elphaba and Glinda, Xena and Gabrielle.

You know, that last rehearsal was so useful.
I mean, obviously, I was holding back a little bit, giving the others their moment.

Jacqui, um, I just wanted to say that... I absolutely love what you were doing with that number.
I mean, you should be so proud.

Because I don't need some pep talk from some jumped-up Sutton Foster wannabe.
Jacqui.

Jacqui, the things you said to Mia-- Today's been a hot mess, OK?
I lost a listing because the vendor decided to sell privately, which is bonkers, because he'll get no marketing reach.
I don't care what happened at work.

See, I thought I was talking to one of my oldest friends.
You are, but I'm also your director.
And I never want to hear you talking to a castmate like that again.
[Scoffs] She needs to learn to take a note.
She's 17 years old, Jacqui.

[Door opens, then shuts] [Scoffs] [Mia sobbing] Mia, it's Charlie.
[Sobbing] Look, I know you're doubting yourself right now.
But trust me, the amount of times I have cried in a bathroom cubicle.
When I was pitching to direct "Cats," I basically lived in a bathroom.
Hmm?
[Sniffling] You still doubt yourself?
Doubt never goes away.
You just have to try and work with it.
And for what it's worth, Mia, you've really got something.

[Mia sniffles] Good.
Now, how about you come out of there and we nail "Greeks Bearing Gifts"?

All right, lovely people, we will be keeping the drama on stage from now on, because... it's all about the work.
Yeah?
[Dishes and cups clanking softly] So, the Trojans have just come in to discover the horse, and Cassandra bursts in with her warning.
I want you to do something for me.
Forget everything.
Forget the blocking, forget Adam's choreography.
The only thing that you need to do is convince the people behind you that they're in mortal danger.
Got it?
But isn't this, like, the big dance number?
Forget all of it.
What are you gonna do?
Convince my friends they're in danger.

Adam.

Adam: Right.

Start warming up those toes.
Charlie: And turning round.
